1. All participants are required to follow the Regulations Governing the Use of Sports Facilities on Campus.
2. Participants should bring their own rackets. The color of the covering blades should be red on one side and black on the other. The covering material of the blades should be of a brand and type currently approved by the ITTF. For details of the covering material, please refer to the list of Authorized Racket Coverings on the ITTF’s website at https://www.hktta.org.hk/referee/application/ITTF_Rules.html.
3. Participants should wear a short-sleeved polo shirt and shorts/skirts during the competition. The main color of the shirt and shorts should not be white or similar to white. The length of the shorts should not exceed the knee. Otherwise, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant(s). Participants in the doubles event and team event from the same team must wear a shirt (short-sleeved) of the same color and design. Each participant should prepare two sets of jerseys of the same design but in significantly different colors for replacement in case competitors in the same match wear jerseys of the same color.
4. Approved table tennis balls provided by the Organizer will be used in all matches.
5. Participants should be aware of their health condition and avoid participating if feeling unwell or showing symptoms of infectious diseases such as fever, respiratory tract symptoms (e.g., cough, runny nose, sore throat), conjunctivitis, skin rashes, skin damage, etc.
6. Participants should wear non-marking sports shoes during the competition.
7. Unless explicitly stated in the prospectus, all rules and regulations will follow those currently adopted by the Hong Kong Table Tennis Association.
