In December 2022, Virtual Hospital won Asia Gold in the Wharton-QS Reimagine Education Regional Awards 2022. The Wharton-QS Reimagine Education Awards is regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of Education, in that it brings together educational innovators from all around the world to complete for global honours.
Virtual Hospital was among the top 18% of applications (out of over 1,100 applications from 70 nations) shortlisted for an award. This year’s awardees include bronze, silver, and gold winners in seven regions. This project has achieved a worldclass standard in educational innovation, having been chosen by a panel of 400 international higher education expert judges as one of the leading applications from a cohort of 1,200. The awarded application achieved outstanding levels of scalability, innovation, and efficacy.
