The SHTM is delighted to present an upcoming Dean's Distinguished Lecture by Mr Horst Schulze, a legendary leader who has redefined service excellence in the global hospitality industry.
A visionary in luxury hospitality, Mr Schulze was a founding member of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, established in 1983. He instituted operating and service standards that have since become global benchmarks for excellence. During his tenure as
President and Chief Operating Officer, he led the company's worldwide operations, achieving revenue of approximately US$2 billion.
Following his remarkable journey at The Ritz-Carlton, Mr Schulze founded The Capella Hotel Group, further shaping the landscape of modern luxury hospitality through its portfolio of exclusive properties.
In addition to his industry achievements, Mr Schulze is a strong advocate for education and serves on the SHTM's International Advisory Board. His
acclaimed book
Excellence Wins (2019) has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.
Drawing on his pioneering leadership and extensive industry experience, Mr Schulze will share transformative insights into achieving operational excellence and delivering exceptional service in today's hospitality environment.
