SHTM Leads the Way with Major Publicly Funded Research Grants
As a global centre of excellence in hospitality and tourism education, academic research lies at the heart of SHTM. The high quality of its research output is a testament to SHTM's commitment to advancing the industry through knowledge, reinforcing its position as a world-leading hospitality and tourism school.

In the latest funding announcement from the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, a total of 5 SHTM research projects have been awarded financial support under the General Research Fund (GRF) and Early Career Scheme (ECS) for the 2025/26 academic year, totalling HK$2.25 million.
