The 12th CHINA TOURISM FORUM:
INNOVATIONS IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM PRACTICES to be held in Hangzhou, China
The 12th CHINA TOURISM FORUM: Innovations in Hospitality and Tourism Practices will be hosted by the SHTM and organised by Fliggy, Alibaba's travel division. The forum will be held on 19-20 November 2018 at the Midtown Shangri-La Hotel, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.

China has benefited from rapid economic growth in recent years and now plays a significant role in the global tourism industry. Since 2007, the SHTM has organised the International Forum on China Hotel Brand Development and the China Tourism Forum, which have furthered the growth of the hotel and tourism industry. In line with the current wave of innovation and the ongoing development and integration of the tourism, hotel and many other related industries, these two forums were combined and relaunched as the CHINA TOURISM FORUM: Innovations in Hospitality and Tourism Practices in Hangzhou in November 2017. This revitalised forum provides a platform for industry experts, government officials and academics to interact and explore how to cope with the many unprecedented challenges and opportunities that arise when promoting sustainable innovation in tourism, hospitality and other related industries.

Forum Registration

Those who wish to attend the forum must register in advance. Registration before 5 November 2018 is free. Due to the limited capacity of the venue, registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Registration for the forum includes all sessions on 20 November 2018, including the main sessions at the main venue, refreshment breaks and lunch.

Due to limited seating, a nominal fee will be charged for the Forum Welcome Dinner on 19 November.

The special session on 19 November will only be open to invited guests.
