陳璐華博士在香港攻讀研究生課程之前,曾在中山大學附屬醫院接受臨床培訓執業。她往的臨床培訓經驗激發了她對神經精神障礙性疾病研究(從早期神經發育到晚期神經退行性變等)的興趣和熱情。香港大學李嘉誠醫學院取得博士學位以後,她分別在香港大學和香港中文大學心理學系接受了臨床神經科學的博士後培訓。

 

目前,陳博士的研究興趣旨在解遺傳風險因素、環境風險因素和遺傳-環境相互作用如何導致神經精神疾病和相關行為特徵的發生、發展和或惡化。她使用系統科學的方法結合先進的跨學科分析手段,將多層次的信息和多學科的理論有機結合起來,以促進我們對人腦認知功能的解。此外,她的研究興趣還包括鑒別認知功能的臨床表型以進行早期疾病診斷,並揭示社會和文化相關的風險因素。她的最終研究目標是將研究成果轉化為早期臨床干預措施,以幫助認知功能受損的患者。
