簡歷

彭博士於加拿大埃德蒙頓亞伯特大學取得物理治療學士學位以及腦神經科學哲學博士學位。在修讀博士課程期間,彭博士曾獲加拿大自然科學及工程研究委員會頒發博士後獎學金,於加拿大溫哥華英屬哥倫比亞大學進行中風康復之研究。在轉職香港理工大學後,彭博士仍然積極進行相關研究。彭教授的研究主要集中於老年康復,特別是對中風或認知障礙症人士的康復治療。彭教授的研究志趣亦有涵蓋智障人士老齡化的問題。彭教授的研究成果及大量相關論文已收錄在多份頂尖學刊上。彭教授亦同與前線臨床物理治療同事長期緊密合作,將大量科研成果轉移應用於社區康復服務項目中.

在加入香港理工大學之前,彭博士於英屬哥倫比亞大學以及亞伯特大學教授學士生以及研究生物理治療課程,並先後獲得亞伯特省大學及香港理工大學頒發優秀教學獎。目前,彭博士教授的課程有研究方法和資料分析、神經康復、以及人生發展週期等。

彭教授現任香港物理治療學會會長及香港物理治療期刋總編輯。彭教授亦於2017-2019年擔任世界物理治療聯盟執行委員會委員。
