Academic Staff

Ms Candy Wong obtained her Professional Diploma in Physiotherapy and her Post-Experience Certificate in Peripheral Manipulative Therapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She achieved her Master of Science in Cardiology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Ms Wong has vast clinical experience in various specialties covering the out-patient and in-patient service in Hospital Authority for more than 30 years. The units or hospitals she had served included David Trench Rehabilitation Centre, Tsan Yuk Hospital, and Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH).

Before joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Clinical Associate, Ms Wong was Senior Physiotherapist at PYNEH, and Clinical Educator for both the MSc and BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy programmes of PolyU. She helped set up physiotherapy service in the Coronary Care Unit, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service (phase I), and the Clinical Education Unit of PYNEH. She is passionate about working with young people and training the next generation of professional physiotherapists.
