Visit by the Delegation from Guangzhou Government, Baiyun District

A delegation led by Mr. Jingqing HE, the Secretary of the Baiyun District Committee of Guangzhou, visited PolyU with the aim to explore cooperation opportunities in the fields of smart energy and fashion design. The delegation made in-depth discussions with Ir Prof. Shengwei WANG, Director of Otto Poon Charitable Foundation Research Institute for Smart Energy, and Professor Erin CHO, Dean of School of Fashion and Textiles.

They also toured Research Institute for Smart Energy and School of Fashion and Textiles to gain a deeper understanding of PolyU’s exceptional achievements these research fields. PolyU welcomes Baiyun District to collaborate in promoting developments in mutually interested fields, and looks forward to leveraging its scientific research advantages. By combining the strong industrial chain of the Greater Bay Area, PolyU aims to contribute to the construction of an international science and technology innovation center.
