Over the past years, my research team has actively involved in the area of Smart Internet of Things (IoT), which employs various technologies including wireless sensing, big data, Blockchain, and cloud computing to facilitate interactions among the things and create added values from the things and the data produced by them. With the collaboration and support from ITDO, we start to initiate cross-disciplinary research to try to tackle grand challenges in food safety which also obtained strong support from leading industrial partners, such as Alibaba Group, Shangri-La group and LEE KUM KEE. We foresee the research project will provide immediate benefits to the local and international caterers and producers/manufacturers!
