Introduction

Gitlab is a commonly used on-premise web-based DevOps (development + operation) lifecycle tool for software development. To keep abreast of the trend, we provide students with on premises git repository as an alternative for storing code base (Ide integration, e.g. Rstudio) and implementing software project management.

The GitLab service is accessible at the URL: https://gitlab.polyu.edu.hk/. To start your project with GitLab, please make prior registration here (access by PolyU Connect account) and refer to the get started user guide.
