The PolyU Marshall Research Centre is dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of bacterial infections, with a particular emphasis on combating the escalating threat of antimicrobial resistance. Our core aim is to pioneer novel antibiotics that address these challenges, while honing in on key pathogens such as Helicobacter pylori to drive meaningful clinical improvements.

We are committed to fostering international collaboration to amplify the impact of our work in medical microbiology and translate discoveries into real-world solutions. Through innovative science, AI trends and interdisciplinary efforts, we strive to safeguard public health and shape the future of infectious disease management.
