Summary
Abstract
This talk discusses two experimental studies on multi-stakeholder collaborative decision-making games in transportation, which were recently published in the multidisciplinary journal iScience: 1) A comparison of decision-making mechanisms between AI and humans in daily collaborative tasks; 2) Enhancing the sustainability of carbon inclusion policies through downward social comparison: Evidence from the laboratory. Using these studies as a springboard, we introduce the motivations, guiding principles, and pathways for the transformation of transportation research in the era of AI.
