Course Title: Beyond Wireless Charging: Wireless Energy Conversion in Future Energy Internet

Details: Beyond wireless charging for electric vehicles, consumer electronics, and medical implants, this presentation will focus on a new concept of wireless energy conversion for the wireless Energy Internet. Instead of relying on a multi-stage energy conversion system for wireless charging, energy storage, and battery discharging to power electric loads, this research aims to achieve a straightforward, integrated system design for various applications using wireless power transfer.
This presentation covers multiple schemes of wireless energy conversion, including wireless motoring, heating, lighting, and chargng. These schemes will wirelessly link all fundamental forms of energy—namely mechanical, thermal, optical, electrical, and magnetic—through different media for various purposes.
