(only available in Chinese) 陳國康 (Luther Chin, 1908-1980)、 陳國平 (Rockwood Chin, 1911-1998) 與陳璉采 (Ettie Chin, 1913-2005) 兄妹三人生於麻塞諸塞州伍斯特市一個臺山移民家庭,均畢業於新英格蘭頂尖學府。抗戰初期,三位年輕人毅然決定來華,並分別在不同的大學研究機構任職,直到1944年才返回美國。陳國康在國立中央大學教授工程,陳國平在南開經濟研究所從事紡織業研究,而陳璉采在金陵女子大學擔任體育系教師。陳家兄妹對戰時中國大學做出了貢獻,而他們的特殊經歷也展現了全球二戰時期中國與美國之間另一種跨國聯繫。

(only available in Chinese) 任可,美國聖十字學院歷史系副教授。主要研究方向為近現代中西交流史、國際史與跨國史、中國與全球二戰史及和平史。最近著作文章收錄於Chiang Yee and His Circle: Chinese Artistic and Intellectual Life in Britain, 1930-1950 (《蔣彝和他的文友:旅英華人的文藝創作與社會交往 (1930-1950)》) 及 Uneasy Allies: Sino-American Relations at the Grassroots, 1937-1949 (《不穩定的盟友: 中美基層關係 (1931-1949)。
