Technical Support
Shortlisted participants will receive technical advice and equipment support from:
- Industrial Centre (IC)
This includes guidance on design optimization for concrete printing and access to printing facilities for wining designs.
Q: Do I need to have prior experience with 3D printing?
A: No, the online briefing session will cover the basics of concrete printing technology and design guidelines.
Q: What software should I use to create the .STL file?
A: Any 3D modelling software that can export .STL format is acceptable (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp).
Q: Will technical support be provided during the design phase?
A: Yes, shortlisted participants can seek technical advice from RCC3D and IC on concrete printing technology-related matters, including design optimization, material properties, and printer-specific considerations for various concrete printing systems.
Q: Will the printed models be returned to us after the exhibition?
A: Please check with the organisers regarding the post-exhibition arrangement for the printed models.
