Design Requirements

Design Freedom and Post-Selection Adaptation

• Designs are not strictly limited to any dimensions; participants are free to exercise their creativity.
• Should the design be selected as a top 3 winning entry, it may be scaled down or printed in segments to fit within the printable range of the available printing machine.
• Participants are encouraged to consider printability during the design phase, but no strict dimension constraint apply at the submission stage.

Depending on the printing machine to be used for the winning entries, the printable range of each machine type is as follows:

Submission Requirements

• 3D Design Model: .STL file format 

• Design Description: in any format (video, PPT, Word, PDF, etc.) including but not limited to the following:
• Design concept and inspiration
• Intended use or aesthetic value
• Completed Application Form

Rules and Regulations

1. Each team/individual can submit ONE design only. If multiple submissions are received, only the last submission will be considered.
2. Entries must be original work. Any entry that infringes upon copyright or intellectual property rights will be disqualified. Participants bear full legal responsibility for the originality of their submissions.
3. The organisers reserve the right to:
   1. Amend competition regulations and arrangements without prior notice;
   2. Make final decisions on all matters related to the competition;
   3. Disqualify any entry or retract any award in case of disputes.
4. Participants agree that the organisers are not liable for any loss or damage to digital files or intellectual property during the submission process.
5. The organisers shall be under no obligation to disclose the judging score and judges' comments to any applicants and reserves the right not to provide any reasons for not selecting the applicants.
6. By submitting an entry, participants fully understand and agree to be bound by these rules and regulations.
