About PAIR

The PolyU Academy for Interdisciplinary Research (PAIR) is a central research platform at PolyU dedicated to providing world-leading interdisciplinary solutions to significant societal challenges. PAIR facilitates interdisciplinary research, transfers knowledge and technologies, inspires innovations across disciplines, and collaborates with top research institutions in the world. PAIR brings together more than 400 senior researchers from various disciplines and provides integrated administrative support to its constituent research units. PAIR has eleven research institutes (RIs) and five research centres (RCs). PAIR will establish more RIs and RCs in different fields in the coming years, leveraging research and innovation for the benefit of Hong Kong and beyond.
