This seminar focuses on the theoretical frontiers of computational art and the inheritance of Eastern aesthetics in the context of large language models. It explores how intelligent technologies are reshaping the cognitive paradigms and creation logic of traditional aesthetics. Drawing on his team’s project Chinese Aesthetic Gene Database, the seminar elaborates on methodological innovations in computational art, the analysis of Chinese aesthetic genes, and their practical applications.
