The 9th International Conference on Multicultural Discourses and the 13th Symposium on Contemporary Chinese Discourses, held from November 15 to 17, 2025, at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, was a resounding success. Scholars, researchers, and students from around the globe gathered to discuss the theme “Asian Unity and Cooperation.”
The conference provided a vital platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, exploring how Asia’s cultural traditions and discourses can address pressing global challenges and foster shared prosperity. Over 100 attendees from more than 10 countries and regions participated in the event. It also concluded with a call for greater collaboration among scholars and practitioners to harness Asia’s cultural and intellectual resources in building a shared global future. Participants praised the conference for its interdisciplinary approach, impactful discussions, and commitment to fostering multicultural dialogue.
