Academic Staff

Dr. Yufeng Nie is a Research Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He obtained his Bachelor's and PhD degrees from Tongji University in 2017 and 2023, respectively. From 2019 to 2022, he was a visiting PhD student at the University of Stuttgart and the Technical University of Munich. Dr. Nie joined PolyU in 2023 as a Postdoctoral Fellow.

Dr. Nie's research focuses on processing satellite gravimetry data and its applications in climate change. He has published significant works in leading journals such as PNAS, GRL and JGR. Dr. Nie has also served as a co-convener for the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly.
