HKT x PolyU InnoHub: How to leverage Anti-Epidemic Fund for more business?

The D-Biz Programme (Distance Business Programme) is part of the Government's Anti-Epidemic Fund to support companies through the unprecedented challenges they are facing due to the coronavirus outbreak. Remote working/ service has become a new trend, and the D-Biz Programme aims to help companies develop new innovations and technology to drive remote business. Companies can use D-Biz funding to purchase or adopt technology solutions and related training. The subsidies can be used to set up online stores, conduct e-marketing, strengthen cybersecurity, and/or facilitate work-from-home or virtual meeting programmes.

The Government also launches a Subsidy Scheme for Encouraging Early Deployment of 5G, which aims to encourage various sectors to deploy 5G technology early to foster innovation and smart city applications, and to improve the efficiency of their operations and the quality of their services that will contribute to enhancing Hong Kong's overall competitiveness.
