2024 Annual Seminar of Joint Research Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of High-Performance Micro/Meso Scaled Surface Functional Structures Seminar of the Joint Research Centre
The Joint Research Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of High-Performance Micro/Meso-Scaled Surface Functional Structures was established on July 1st, 2023 by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University collaboratively.The Centre aims to develop precision and high efficiency multi-scale manufacturing technologies for surface microstructures in micro/meso scale featuring various unique functions such as mass transfer, heat transfer, optical control, hydrophobic/hydrophilic behaviors, etc. In tandem with this, the Centre is dedicated to bridging the gap between laboratory research and practical application of various functional surface microstructure in the fields of new energy, aerospace, medical devices, etc.
Via the seminar, what has been done will be reported and how to conduct the research under the Joint Research Centre, especially the brainstorming on the innovative research of the Centre will be conducted. The research map and working plan for the next two year will also be developed to navigate the research of the Joint Centre.
