Dr Qiyao HUANG obtained both her BA (2014) and PhD (2019) in Textile Technology from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests include flexible energy storages, wearable electronics and smart textile.

Research Overview

Dr. Huang’s research interests lie in developing flexible devices based on textile and clothing materials for wearable applications, through combining conventional textile fabrication techniques with advanced materials and nanotechnology. Her research has primarily focused on metallic textiles and textile-based electrochemical energy storage.
