Summary

Through millions of years of adaptation, nature has developed highly durable, resilient, and energy-efficient systems. Biological structures offer opportunities for the innovative design and manufacturing of mechanical systems using precision engineering insights. Exploring this new field of research requires mastering our measurement and manufacturing processes. This has allowed us to reconstruct biological systems and understand their secrets. In this talk, we will present our research to master our measurement and manufacturing systems, then highlight the lcey aspects of our approach to deliver a brealcthrough in bio-inspired design.
