Course objectives:
Risk assessment is one of the useful tools of risk management and applicable to the safety management of a workplace. This lecture will teach you a simple but yet practical step-by-step risk assessment method using a tailor-made form.

To equip the attendees with basic radiation safety knowledge to meet the pre-requisite for registration as a registered user of irradiating apparatus in PolyU.

Target group(s):
Potential users of sealed or unsealed radioactive substances Personnel, who have already trained in radiation safety using HSEO’s web-based self‑learning system, are not mandatory to attend this course but they are welcome to take this course as reinforcement.
