Lai See Packets Reuse and Recycle Program

Happy Lunar New Year! PolyU has been supporting Greeners Action’s “Lai See Packets Reuse and Recycle Program” to encourage people to reuse and recycle their Lai See packets.

More than 3 million of “Lai See” packets were collected and recycled for the past four consecutive years by Greeners Action. The red pockets were sorted and re-packed by the Mental health Association of Hong Kong. The “Re-Born Lai See” were then re-distributed to general public and non-profit organizations for use. You can find more information with the attached posters from Greeners Action.

We have also received “Re-Born Lai See” from Greeners Action and will distribute them free of charge on PolyU’s main campus on a first-come, first-served basis, while stock lasts.

Date: 14 January, 2014 (Tuesday)
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
