Campus Sustainability Office

Building a sustainable campus has long been the primary objective of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and it steers the University’s development. In 2011, the University established the Campus Sustainability Committee (CSC) to oversee the planning and implementation of sustainability policies and strategies on campus, and much work has been done through the Campus Sustainability Section under the Health, Safety and Environment Office (HSEO). In recognition of the growing importance of advancing sustainable development of the University and to promote stakeholders engagement, the Campus Sustainability Office (CSO) was subsequently established in 2015 and serves as the policy making and coordination unit for the University on campus sustainability matters.
