The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Foundation (PolyU Foundation) hosted an appreciation reception on 25 August 2025 to express heartfelt gratitude to its members. The event welcomed new and upgraded members across all membership tiers, including Honorary Life Members, Life Members, Senior Members, and Ordinary Members.
Dr Sunny Chai, Chairman of the PolyU Foundation, conveyed his sincere thanks to the members for their generosity and unwavering support, emphasising its instrumental role in driving the University’s continued growth and success.
Professor Jin-Guang Teng, President of PolyU, warmly welcomed the members and shared updates on the University’s recent achievements in education and research. He highlighted PolyU’s impressive performance in the 2025 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, moving up three places to 54th, marking a historic high.
As a token of appreciation, Professor Teng and Dr Chai presented Certificates of Appreciation to the members. Following the reception, members were invited to visit the University Gallery to experience PolyU’s inspiring journey of transformation.
