Focus areas: (1) the roles of probiotics in the gut and their application in the prevention of metabolic disease (2) early life nutrition on the growth and microbiota of infants (3) effect of food and environmental contaminants on the gut microbiota We also work on the development of antibacterial/antiviral materials for different applications.
