Mr Angus Law, Clinical Associate (Physiotherapy) at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences has recently been bestowed the “Investigator Award” in the 27th European Stroke Conference. Ten best submitted research works were selected for this award.
The study entitled “Effect of physical exercise for physical recovery of people with locked-in syndrome after stroke: What do we know from the current evidence? A systematic review” was a joint effort made by Mr Law and a group of Master in Physical Therapy (China) students.
The abstract will be published in the Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases and the Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases Extra, both are the international peer reviewed journals.
