ELC 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner

The English Language Centre is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. One of the celebratory events was a Gala Dinner held on Friday 8 December.

The dinner, held at U Green, PolyU, featured an honourable opening speech by Faculty Dean, Prof Li Ping. He was followed by Dr Jane Robbins who combined her speech with an interactive quiz which captured important moments from the past 25 years.

Next was a buffet style dinner which was enjoyed by all, both new and old colleagues. The dinner concluded with exciting lucky draws and a showcase of ELC talents. Ms Cecily Chan mesmerized the audience with her skilled piano performance, while Mr Jay Badal delivered a humorous twist on Shakespeare's "To be or not to be." The evening left a lasting impression, celebrating the remarkable talents within the ELC community.
