Prof. Yong (Jimmy) Jin is a Full Professor and Assistant Dean in Faculty of Business, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also the Director of the Centre for Business Technology & Innovations, Deputy Director of the OSL-PolyU FB Research Centre for Web 3.0 AI, and Deputy Programme Director of the Doctor of Management (HK) and Doctor of Business Administration (CE) programs. Prof. Jin received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Florida and his M.Phil. and B.Sc . from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include FinTech, Technology and Operations Management, and Interdisciplinary Research. He has published more than 50 papers in leading journals. Prof. Jin has received several international awards and recognitions, including the AIS Early Career Award, the Morgan Stanley Prize for Excellence in Financial Markets, the Gold Award in the “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Silver Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. He has also secured more than 50 million HKD in research fundings.
