Professor Zheng Yongyan
Summary
In this talk, Professor Zheng Yongyan will survey the status quo of applied linguistics research driven by the Complex Dynamic Systems Theory (CDST). She will first share findings of a textometric review study, and then elaborate on two specific studies that explore the key constructs of CDST in second language development. She will end the talk by discussing possible directions for future CDST research.

Professor Zheng Yongyan
Fudan University, China
Yongyan Zheng is Professor of Applied Linguistics at Fudan University, China, where she teaches English academic writing and applied linguistics. Her research interests include second-language development, bilingual and multilingual education, and academic literacy practices. Her recent publications have appeared on Applied Linguistics Review, Applied Linguistics Review, Applied Linguistics Review Applied Linguistics Review Applied Linguistics Review, Applied Linguistics Review, Applied Linguistics Review Applied Linguistics Review, Applied Linguistics Review Applied Linguistics Review Applied Linguistics Review Applied Linguistics Review, and Applied Linguistics Review She serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Applied Linguistics Review, and also the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Applied Linguistics Review. She is also one of the co-founders of Hamburg-Fudan-Macquarie “New Generation Literacies Network”.
