The 17th International Conference for Language and Social Psychology (ICLASP17) will be held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong between 17 and 20 June, 2020. The conference brings together scholars who engage in sociopsychological research and analysis concerning the role of language in society. It will host a number of panels across diverse areas including, but not limited to, health, culture, and current political issues. Discipline diversity is the hallmark of ICLASP and includes anthropology, sociology, communication, applied linguistics as well as social psychology.

Update: Chinese New Year (The Year of the Rat) falls early this year and is at the end of January.  To honor our Hong Kong hosts and their traditions, we have decided to extend the deadline for the call for papers.  The new deadline is 17 February at close of business USA time.
