The EEC’s engineering space was buzzing with innovation on October 5th for our annual Mini-ROV Competition. This cornerstone event, designed specifically for our newest members, transformed weeks of theoretical learning into a hands-on engineering spectacle, with 74 members forming 13 teams ready to compete.
New teams put their skills to the test, designing, building, and piloting their Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) through a series of complex underwater challenges. The poolside was filled with intense focus and triumphant cheers as teams navigated obstacles, demonstrating incredible problem-solving and teamwork under pressure.
We are pleased to announce the winning teams, who were recognized for their exceptional performance and innovative designs:
CHAMPION: Team 4 - Awarded $500 per member.
1ST RUNNER-UP: Team 7 - Awarded $300 per member.
2ND RUNNER-UP: Team 10 - Awarded $150 per member.
