Upon completion of the subject, students will be able to:
- Explain population ageing and how demographic changes influence individuals, families, and societies.
- Develop a holistic understanding of ageing as a biological, psychological, and social process.
- Demonstrate empathy, age-inclusiveness, and problem-solving skills in addressing ageing-related challenges.
- Identify opportunities and innovative solutions in ageing societies, including in healthcare, social policy, gerontechnology, and the silver economy.
