As a physiotherapist, treating patients with low back pain is the topic that has sparked my interest and passion. It has led me from an active career as a physiotherapist to pursue advanced academic training and expertise at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). When I was studying the MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy programme at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of PolyU, I was introduced to a unique blend of East-meets-West treatment methodologies.

The goal of my research is to elucidate the relationships between psychological factors, spinal functions, and low back pain. The final outcomes may help clinicians and researchers better understand and treat patients with low back pain.
