PolyHack 2023

PolyU’s Research and Innovation Office (RIO) supported PolyHack 2023, a global student-led hackathon and ideathon competition organized by the Google Developer Student Club of PolyU and the Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office (KTEO). The two-week competition brought together over 700 talented individuals from 80 regions, providing a platform for creativity and technical skills in artificial intelligence (AI), financial technology (FinTech), and smart city domains.

Prof. Christopher Chao, Vice President (Research and Innovation) of PolyU, expressed in the PolyHack 2023 Final Pitching & Award Ceremony that PolyU takes great pride in fostering an ecosystem that encourages entrepreneurship, innovation, and research, on 24th June. The university believes in the power of collaboration between academia and industry, with events like PolyHack showcasing this synergy.

The winners of PolyHack 2023 were selected based on their exceptional performance and groundbreaking solutions. The distinguished winners of PolyHack 2023 are as follows:
