Objectives:
- To continue the development of the eSFQ system based on the experiences and feedback gained in the pilot studies in 2012/13, with the enhanced features, functionalities and capability needed for an institution-wide implementation involving all teachers and subjects.
- To plan, implement and evaluate an institution-wide pilot of the enhanced eSFQ system for both GUR and DSR subjects in 2013/14 and 2014/15.
- To explore, implement and evaluate effective strategies for improving student response rate to eSFQ.
- To compare the response rates, reliability and validity of eSFQ against paper-based SFQ that are adminstered in-class.
- To make recommendations to the University concerning the future implementation and the use of eSFQ system.
- To develop and pilot appropriate electronic tools/ platform based on University-approved policies, guidelines and work flow to:
- support the implementation of peer evaluation of teaching; and
- facilitate staff to document and present evidence of their teaching achievements beyond the SFQ for evaluation purposes.
