Dr. Sylvia Kwok is Associate Professor and the convenor of the positive education laboratory in the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the City University of Hong Kong. Her mission is to improve mental health of people. She has published about 60 papers related to children and adolescent mental health problems, parenting and positive psychology in different international refereed journals, and have been invited as speaker in over 60 conferences and symposiums. She has collaborated with 300 local schools, social welfare agencies and business corporations to promote positive education for the students, teachers, parents and the community. She got the University Grants Committee Teaching Award (Team) in 2021 and Teaching Innovation Award (Team) by the City University of Hong Kong in 2019.
