Facilitator: Leo Chon, EDC
Date: 11 Dec 2023
Time: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Venue: TU411 and Online via Zoom
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is changing the way we approach teaching, learning, and assessment. Teachers need to reconsider their teaching practices and how they assess student learning, and adapt to the changes quickly as we move into the GenAI era.
EDC has reviewed GenAI-expected redesigned assessments collected from different disciplines and provided feedback and suggestions before Semester 1 2023 started. In this workshop, you will learn about the review process, the issues anticipated by teachers and how teachers proposed revising their assessments to take advantage of, adapt to, or even avoid the use of GenAI in assessment. You will also have a chance to share your own experiences and insights with GenAI and assessment. Join us to explore strategies and get some inspiration for redesigning GenAI-expected assessments in the semester(s) ahead.
