Dr. FONG Chi Kit Ken joined the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2025. Prior to this position, he served as an Assistant Professor of Teaching at Lingnan University and as an Assistant Professor at Chu Hai College of Higher Education. He is the recipient of the Award in Teaching (Merit Award (Team)) for the academic year 2023/24 at Lingnan University.

Dr FONG obtained the BSc degree and Ph.D degree in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong in 2012 and 2017 respectively. In 2016, he had the privilege of being a visiting student at the Multi-Agent Laboratory at Kyushu University. His primary research interests include the application of artificial intelligence in education, Algorithmic Mechanism Design within Social Choice Theory, and various resource allocation problems.
