Dear students,

You are cordially invited to join the “CUS Film Appreciation 2025 – Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance” on 20 October 2025 (Monday) at 4:00 pm in N001, organised by the College of Undergraduate Studies. We have prepared a gift voucher up to $1,500 (IT or digital device coupon) for participants who submitted a 2-minute video reflection on the film after the film appreciation event. Participants will explore the film that depicts this significant historical event, understand its messages, engage in meaningful discussions, and share their insights.

Video Content and Reflection: 

Interested applicants are invited to participate in the film appreciation event and produce a 2-minute video narrating their reflections after the event. The proposed content is as follows:

• Key messages and historical events that produce resonance in the viewers
• Personal reflections on how the film impacted the participants’ understanding of the history of the Victory in the War of Resistance

There is one Outstanding Award, one Gold Award, two Silver Awards, three Bronze Awards, and 10 Merit Awards under each category of the contest. Prizes: $500 - $1,500 gift vouchers (IT or digital device coupon) and a certificate of award.

2-minute video submission deadline: 11:59 pm, 5 December 2025 (HKT)

Evaluation of the entries by the panel of judges: December 2025

Announcement of results: Early January 2026
