CSPSE Research Seminar Series - Does Retirement Reduce Divorce Risk?

Dr. Shiro Furuya recently received his Ph.D. degree in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a David E. Bell Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Purdue University. His research interests lie in demography, health, aging and the life course, family, and quantitative methods. His work has appeared in top journals including Demography, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, The Journals of Gerontology: Series B, Social Science & Medicine's sister journals, and Asian Population Studies.
