The 1st Research Workshop of UM-PolyU Joint Research Centre for Robotics and Embodied Intelligence (UM-PolyU CREI)

The 1st Research Workshop of UM-PolyU CREI brings together scholars from Hong Kong and Macao to explore the frontiers of Robotics and Embodied Intelligence. As we transition from structured automation to systems that perceive and reason within the physical world, this inaugural workshop focuses on the Centre’s four strategic pillars: Robotic Intelligence, Embodied Computing, Safe Autonomous Systems, and Applied Robotics. By fostering exchange between renowned experts and emerging talents, we aim to bridge the gap between fundamental scientific discovery and real-world societal impact. The workshop will include presentations highlighting diverse perspectives and innovative approaches in these areas.
