理大八十周年 《泰晤士高等教育》創新與影響高峰會

The inaugural Times Higher Education (THE) Innovation and Impact Summit, a key celebratory event of PolyU’s 80th Anniversary co-hosted by the University and THE, was held successfully on 31 May – 2 June.

理大與《泰晤士高等教育》合辦的首個「創新與影響高峰會」已於5月31日至6月2日順利舉行。高峰會是理大八十周年校慶的重點活動之一。

More than 200 delegates from 34 countries gathered in Hong Kong for the Summit. Themed “Powering Universities’ Economic and Social Impact through Innovative Research and Teaching”, the Summit featured keynote speeches and a series of thought-provoking panel discussions led by influential higher education figures, innovators, entrepreneurs and policy-makers on how universities drive innovation towards creating greater impact. The University is pleased to have Mr Charles Chen Yidan, Founder of Yidan Prize and Core Founder of Tencent Holdings Limited to give the opening keynote. Details

來自三十四個國家共二百多名代表來港參與以「創新研究與教學對強化大學在經濟及社會方面的影響」為題的高峰會。高峰會匯聚多位具影響力的高等教育界人士、創新者、企業家和決策者，進行主題演講及一系列激發思考的研討會，就大學可如何推動創新，以締造更大的影響分享意見。大學很榮幸邀得一丹獎發起人、騰訊控股有限公司主要創辦人陳一丹先生任開幕演講嘉賓。詳情

#THEinnovation becomes a Top 2 “Trending Topic” on Twitter in the UK, attracting the attention of a huge audience. Around 700,000 individuals were aware of the Summit and many of them followed the discussion.
