Dr Yining Di is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he worked under the supervision of Chair Professor Hai Yang. Dr. Di’s research interests focus on the integration of advanced data mining techniques, domain-specific knowledge engineering, and multimodal data fusion, in developing generative AI systems that deliver intelligent decision support and tailored solutions for specialized industrial and civil sectors.
