《CICES Presidential Courtesy Visit》
It was our honour to welcome a delegation from the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), comprising Mr Marek SUCHOCKI, Senior Vice President; Mr Simon HAMLYN, Chief Executive Officer; Mr WONG Hon Fai, Chair, HK Region; Ir Ralph LEUNG, Senior Vice Chair, HK Region; Sr KEUNG Shun Lok, Vice Chairman (Geospatial Engineering-Membership), HK Region; and Mr Henry TSOI, Vice Chairman (Membership), HK Region. The visit featured overviews of BRE’s operation and our MSc in Project Management (PM) programme by Prof. Esther YUNG, Associate Head (Teaching) and Prof. FAN Ying, Programme Leader of PM, respectively.
The delegation engaged in discussions and toured our facilities, including an immersive demonstration of the CAVE and Motion Platform by Prof. CHI Hung Lin’s research team and an exploration of the Smart Infrastructure Management Systems Laboratory led by Prof. Tarek ZAYED’s team. The exchange strengthened our professional bonds and showcased BRE’s commitment to driving innovation in construction research and education.
