Bio Note

Dr LI Dechao is Associate Professor of Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His main research areas include corpuses-based translation studies, empirical approaches to translation process research, history of translation in the late Qing and early Republican periods and PBL and translator/interpreter training. He has published over 50 articles in journals such as Perspectives: Studies in Translatology, The Translator and Interpreter Trainer, 《中國翻譯》Chinese Translators Journal, 《現代外語》Modern Foreign Languages, 《外語教學與研究》Foreign Language Teaching and Research, and 《外國語》Journal of Foreign Languages as well as some book chapters published by Routledge, Springer and Wayne State University Press.
